Pawsitive Farm Sanctuary
An animal rescue and rehabilitation sanctuary sheltering over 111 abandoned, abused and neglected dogs and cats.
Context
Founded by Anusha Srinivasan Iyer on the principle of Athithi Devo Bhava — treating every guest as divine — Pawsitive Farm Sanctuary began when Anusha took in an abandoned dog named TP. It has since grown into a multi-location rescue operation, including a shelter in Nallasopara, caring for animals with severe trauma histories such as Fox, left in a car trunk, Misty, a puppy-mill abuse survivor, and Snowy, a lactating mother abandoned from a moving vehicle.
The sanctuary runs on donations, including fundraising through Milaap, and has appealed for support to relocate rescued animals to permanent housing after cyclone damage to its Nallasopara shelter.
